The other day I went through my complete list of films I’ve seen, and highlighted in green the ones that stood out as favorites. The total I picked out, 201, seems at once high (201 favorites?!) and low (…out of 1,567?!), but just in case anyone is interested in the kind of films that stand out to me as the best, films that I would regard as the finest I’ve seen and that I will never tire of watching, here they are, in alphabetical order:
